It was a distinct honour for Design Diary to collaborate with Dr. Venugopal on his landmark commercial project in Cherthala. This project was profoundly special, as it involved designing the interiors for a brand-new facility for a renowned dental practice. After serving the community for nearly 30 years from his previous location, Dr. Venugopal’s move represented a significant milestone. Our Ernakulam-based team was tasked with creating an environment that not only reflected three decades of trust and expertise but also propelled his practice into a new, modern era.
Project Overview
Our primary goal was to create a space that balances clinical excellence with a calming patient experience. Recognizing that a dental clinic can be a source of anxiety, our design philosophy centred on creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. We achieved this through a carefully selected palette of soothing colours, warm textures, and abundant natural light.
The spatial planning was meticulously designed to optimize workflow for the medical staff while ensuring patient privacy and comfort. From the inviting reception and waiting lounge to the state-of-the-art treatment rooms, every detail was crafted to build confidence and ease, translating Dr. Venugopal’s legacy of care into a physical, contemporary space.
